Cut Stone Paving

Cut stone paving is made on a dimensional table saw. Inventoried items are a by-product of our custom cutting operations. Nominal thicknesses are ¾” to 1”, 1 ½” to 2 ½” or 2 ½” to 4 ½”. Our cut paving products are dimensioned short by ¼” to allow for a joint. We make these typical products for use in two standard patterns. Large or special sizes and large quantities are treated as custom orders, as well as all single sized quantities. In yard inventories consist of Alcove stone natural cleft or thermaled surfaces; and Onondaga Limestone (B&B) burned and brushed surface. Cut stone paving is sold by the square foot and palletized on end for shipment.


Nominal 6” multiple pattern sizes are cut every 6” for both lengths and widths from 1’ x 1’ to 3’ x 3’











Running bond pavers are cut in 3” increments for widths from 3” to 12”; and random lengths from 12” to 36”; typically used when a long linear pattern is desired. We make the running bond pattern in two finishes only; Alcove Bluestone, thermaled and Onondaga Limestone, burned & brushed.





Sawn-edged paving blocks are made from Alcove stone with natural cleft or thermaled surfaces. The standard size is 5” x 10” and they are cut to nominal thicknesses as shown in the chart below. All 4 sides are sawn for a tight fitting joint if desired. Custom sizes can be fabricated; under 1 square foot each. Paving blocks are sold by weight and shipped on pallets.
